Digital Downloads

How many digitals do I get with my session?
10 for Basic Sessions, 15 for Extended Family Sessions, and mini sessions vary
Whoever scheduled the session and has been the main contact for the session will receive a pin that you will need for the downloads. The pin activates a total number of downloads (for instance, 3 different people can’t each download the total amount of images, but  3 different people could split the total…for an extended family session, 3 different people could each download 5 pictures, but not 15 each). 

 

Can I get more downloads? 
Yes! Additional digitals can be purchased for $5 each or $100 for an emailed zip file of all images.  Pricing may vary for mini or specialty sessions (sports teams, for example).

 

How long do I have to download my images?
Your gallery will be live for one month after delivery.
 

How will I receive my download?
To download your free digitals included in your session, you will have the option to download images with one click, and will not be required to place an order or checkout. You will simply hover over an image and click the download icon in the bottom right corner. After clicking it, you will be prompted to enter a PIN. The file will immediately download to your computer or mobile device!

To download additional digitals 

If you purchase additional digitals, you will automatically receive an email with a link to download a .zip file of your photos.   

Note:  The download link will expire 7 days after creation. If you click the link in the email after that 7 day period and the gallery is still active, the link will be regenerated and you will receive a new email with a new download link. If the gallery has expired, the link cannot be regenerated. 

Download times may vary depending on the size and quantity of the images ordered, and, of course, are dependent on your internet connection.

Where does my download go?
Depending on which device your use, your download could go a couple different places.
Laptop/desktop – This is easiest. Just check your downloads folder.
iPhone – Tap the Files app. You should have a Downloads folder in the Files app and your pictures will be there.
Android - You can find your downloads on your Android device in your My Files app (called File Manager on some phones), which you can find in the device's App Drawer. Unlike iPhone, app downloads are not stored on the home screen of your Android device, and can be found with an upward swipe on the home screen. 

What if I forget to get my download and my gallery expires?
Once a gallery has expired, I would actually have to create a new gallery with a new link. Please make sure to get your downloads before your gallery expires. 

 

What if I want the files on a USB?
You may also choose to purchase a USB of all images for $100. You can order that through your gallery and I will arrange to get the USB to you directly from me. 

 

Print those pictures!  

As great as digitals are, remember why you had your pictures taken. It certainly wasn't so they can sit in a file on your phone or computer. Whether you print with me (and believe me, I've tried quite a few different companies, and the one I use here is FANTASTIC) or download digitals and get the prints on your own (I recommend mpix.com), bring those files to life! Physical photos are a great way to decorate, they are easy to share, and technology is ever changing.
